The Library
At present the library's collection consists of 436984 copies of publications: books, brochures, periodicals, publications on electronic media, illustrations. The library annually subscribes about 60 titles of magazines and newspapers. There are 7 employees working in it. There are 100 seats in the reading room. There are systematic and alphabetical catalogs (traditional card catalogs), and an electronic catalog of books and articles.
The library provides differentiated services to readers on a single library card. It provides the readers with basic library services free of charge. Provides full information about the composition of the library collection through a system of catalogs, card catalogs and other forms of library information. Lends out for temporary use works of print and other documents from the library collection. Receives publications on interlibrary loan from other libraries. Compiles bibliographic lists of literature, performs thematic, address and other bibliographic inquiries, conducts bibliographic reviews, organizes book exhibitions. Purchases educational, scientific, reference, fiction literature, periodicals, publications on electronic media, illustrations. Places electronic copies of WRC in the Electronic Library System of UUNiT. Keeps records and places funds, ensures their preservation, restoration, conservation, copying.
The library fund consists of various types of domestic and foreign editions (scientific, educational, fiction, electronic editions). There is a fund of rare books (more than 3000 copies), which is part of the main fund.
The library has 30 computers, including 11 of them for readers, 2 photocopiers, 3 scanners, 5 printers, 2 MFPs.
